SHRM Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Grant
SHRM has developed the Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential (the “Credential”), which is designed to provide training to HR professionals on the strategies and tools needed to successfully shift organizational culture, in order to foster a positive work environment rooted in inclusivity and belonging, ultimately unlocking the organizational gains of a diverse and dedicated workforce. Your participation in the SHRM Inclusive Workplace Culture Scholarship Program (the “Program”) is subject to the following terms and conditions.

Please print your application for your records before you submit it. Once you submit your application, the SHRM will not be able to return it to you, in whole or in part, for any reason.
- 20% Describing the importance of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
- 30% Implementing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts
- 30% Creating a sense of belonging in the workplace
- 20% Discussing the impact of earning the SHRM Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Grant
Applications will be evaluated against the above eligibility criteria, and based on applicant responses to the open-ended questions provided in the application. The best responses shall be selected by SHRM in its sole discretion. SHRM reserves the right to reject any participant in its sole discretion. The application window will open from Sept. 3, 2021 and will close November 3, 2021 at 11:59PM. Recipients shall be selected no later than December 16, 2021, and SHRM will notify all recipients via email.
All grant recipients will be provided the opportunity to obtain the Credential at no cost to them. Recipients must satisfactorily complete the entire Credential package, including all learning components and the assessment in order to receive the Credential. Access to the learning package and recipients use of the credential, if awarded, shall be subject to credential terms and conditions presented to all end users upon accessing the learning materials.
By participating in the Program, SHRM and its affiliates may use your name, application information, and/or photo for marketing, promotional, publicity, or sponsorship purposes without further compensation to you. You understand that SHRM and its affiliates are under no obligation to use your name and/or photo. Upon completion of the Specialty Credential, SHRM may ask you to provide feedback regarding your experience, or to provide a testimonial. You agree to provide such feedback upon request. Such feedback or testimonials will only be used for marketing purposes if you give your permission.
Please note, SHRM/SHRM Foundation does not reimburse for any fees incurred by applicants prior to awarding and without prior written acknowledgement. SHRM/SHRM Foundation employees or board members and their immediate family are not eligible to apply for SHRM Foundation scholarships, grants, or awards.
